Every new packaging solution is created with recyclability in mind – mono-material structures, optimised barriers, and compatibility with state-of-the-art sorting and recycling systems.
Almost all our production sites run on carbon-neutral electricity, mainly from renewable sources. We continuously invest in energy-saving and heat recovery to reduce impact even further.
We only use raw materials which meet the highest quality standards. Many of our sites are FSC® Chain of Custody* and/or ISCC Plus certified to ensure trust and accountability.
Starting from 2021, the Wipak Group has successfully obtained the ISCC PLUS certification for multiple facilities across different countries. These certified facilities include Wipak Nastola in Finland, Wipak Walsrode in Germany, Wipak UK, and Wipak Gryspeert in France. Following suit, Wipak Valkeakoski also achieved the certification in January 2022.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) promotes responsible management of the world’s forests. Wipak purchases responsibly sourced papers and most sites are FSC® certified:
