Wipak UK Ltd has a long-standing relationship with Ornua Foods Ltd, supplying the business with printed laminates for its range of Pilgrims Choice Cheddar Cheese. To improve the aesthetics of the packaging and maximize its impact on the shelf, Wipak developed a new SUPER MATT lacquer that maintains the visual impact and strength of the printed film whilst increasing its scratch resistance.
Through the development of a SUPER MATT lacquer designed for flexographic printing, Wipak now offers a matt lacquer that is comparable, if not better than a gravure printed lacquer.
