Wipak Makes Significant Progress in Sustainability, Announces 2023 ESG Report

Wipak Group today released its 2023 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report, highlighting impressive progress across its environmental and safety initiatives since establishing a baseline in 2019. 

 

The report showcases a remarkable 70% reduction in operational carbon footprint (scope 1+2) compared to the 2019 baseline. This significant achievement demonstrates the company’s dedication to combating climate change and building a sustainable future.

The report further details a 16.8% reduction in electricity consumption, highlighting the company’s commitment to energy efficiency.   

 

Safety remains a top priority for Wipak. The report details a 68% decrease in the Total Recordable Case Rate (TRCR) since 2019, demonstrating a strong commitment to employee safety.

Beyond environmental and safety performance, the 2023 ESG Report features insightful case studies from across the company’s sites, showcasing the positive impact Wipak has had on local communities and the environment.
