As an organisation which places great emphasis on new product development and innovation, Wipak UK was delighted to support long-standing customer, Joseph Heler, in the launch of a new high-protein cheese.
The dairy’s Eatlean Protein Cheese, which contains 40% more protein than regular full-fat cheddar and 90% less fat, is its first branded product to be packaged in a printed film.
“Having traditionally used Wipak UK for supermarket own-label printed film products, we were keen to utilise the team’s knowledge and expertise to help us design and produce the packaging for our new branded offering,” explained David Wells, Marketing Manager at Joseph Heler.
“Wipak UK was extremely helpful from the offset, advising us on the design of the packaging and explaining how the different lacquers impact the look and feel of a product.
“Close to our launch date, it was discovered that a re-run would be required to add a new colour to the palette and the service level we received was unbelievable. The team understood how critical it was for us to launch on time and the revised film was turned around in just a week.”
The resulting packaging features matt and tactile lacquers, gloss areas and reverse printing, with colours that perfectly match the Eatlean brand.
