Wipak was proud to support a young Dutch designer in transforming her competition-winning packaging concept into a reality.

Luna den Hoed won a contest launched by The Vegetarian Butcher and impressed judges so much, that the team at BillerudKorsnäs and Wipak supported Luna to create the eye-catching tray design using a laminate structure.

“Working with young designers is always an enriching exercise for us,” explained Adrie van Bekkum at Wipak. “Quite often, they develop ideas that are completely detached from any technical or economic constraints, and the results are always impressive.

“We were delighted to support Luna and BillerudKorsnäs, and think the final package looks fantastic.”

Luna is presented with the final package at Interpack 2017.
